PETER OBI VISITS ST. GERALD’S HOSPITAL

The Presidential Candidate of Labour Party in the last General Election, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, was at St. Gerard’s Catholic Hospital, Kakuri, Kaduna, on 22nd April, 2024, to support those who find it difficult to pay their hospital bills.

In his speech during the visit Mr. Obi said “I am not here for polities, before I became a politician I have been helping and building humanity around the world and whatever God has given us is to help humanity”.

The Catholic Archbishop of Kaduna Most Revd. Matthew Man-Oso Ndagoso has charged Chaplains to coordinate from the Archdiocesan, Deanery and Parish levels in order to work together and make the work easier for themselves, adding that, every Priest is a Church man.

“You are ordained because you know the mind of the Church, and should guide and direct the Societies and Groups assigned to you according to the mind of the Church”.

Hardship: HVCF Distributes Food Worths N3m To Over 270 Vulnerable Households In Kaduna

A Non-governmental organization, Hope for the Village Child Foundation (HVCF) has distributed food items worth N3m  to over 270 children and women in Kaduna communities as part of their efforts to reduce the rate of malnutrition in the State.

The deputy director, HVCF, Rev. Sr. Juliana Ekwoanya during the distribution of the items on Wednesday in Kaduna at HVCF centre said the gesture was part of their activities in helping the vulnerable to mitigate hardship.
